1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Yaven application ("App") or accessing the website at yaven.me ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Yaven is a personal multimodal AI assistant and relationship management application. It provides features including a multi-agent AI conversation surface (voice, text, photo, file), contact and relationship management, a unified Library of cards and memories, calendar and reminder tools, greeting card creation, brain training games, and collaborative Shared Spaces and Shared Cards.

3. Account Registration

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Yaven.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You may authenticate using Google Sign-In or email/password through Firebase Authentication.

4. Subscriptions & Purchases

4.1 Yaven Pro Subscription

• Yaven Pro is a monthly subscription at $4.99/month, which includes $5 in AI credits.
• Subscriptions are billed through Google Play and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through Google Play Store settings.

4.2 AI Credit Top-Ups

• One-time credit purchases ($4.99 for $5, $9.99 for $10) are non-refundable.
• AI credits do not expire while your account is active.
• AI credits are consumed when using AI-powered features.

4.3 Promo Codes

• Promo codes can be redeemed inside the app to top up your AI balance. Each code is single-use unless explicitly stated.
• Promo codes are tied to your account, are non-transferable, and have no cash value.
• We may revoke promo codes that were obtained fraudulently or distributed in violation of these Terms.

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests for subscriptions and purchases are handled through Google Play's refund policies. We may offer discretionary refunds on a case-by-case basis by contacting [email protected].

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Yaven for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on others' rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use automated systems or bots to access the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
• Use the AI assistant to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal content
• Share or distribute promo codes that were not assigned to you

6. User Content

• You retain ownership of content you create in Yaven (notes, greeting cards, drawings, relationship data).
• By using the service, you grant Yaven a limited license to process, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.
• Content shared through Shared Spaces is visible to invited participants according to their assigned roles.
• Greeting cards include a "Made with Yaven" watermark.

7. AI-Generated Content

Yaven uses AI (powered by OpenAI) to generate responses, greeting cards, suggestions, and other content. AI-generated content is provided "as-is" and may not always be accurate or appropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and using AI-generated content at your own discretion. Yaven is not responsible for any decisions made based on AI-generated content.

8. Third-Party Services

Yaven integrates with third-party services including Google Calendar, Google Sign-In, and OpenAI. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services.

9. Intellectual Property

The Yaven app, website, branding, design, and all related intellectual property are owned by Yaven. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of our service without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yaven shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

11. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through the app or by visiting our Account Deletion page.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
• Upon account deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by updating this page. Your continued use of Yaven after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION — e.g., "the State of California, United States" or "Israel"]. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [YOUR JURISDICTION].
